A Samhain Poem
"We stand at the crossroads of the Earth:
That interstice, where death and life
Do meet, and hold each other close
For bright, brief space of time.
So Merry Meet! In sweet embrace
At this brief point in time and space.
I lift the veil between the worlds
That we may join here in this place.
The way is open, the ground prepared
For as long as this time may last
That we may come together here
For as long as this circle's cast.
So come, Beloveds, and briefly walk
The roads of life once more,
That we may speak, here you depart
Back for that farther shore."
